I may well be getting repetitive however thanks to all of you for your encouragement and help today. I did, I believe, mange one clean stage at under 60 seconds, so all is good!
For anyone curious about my locked up Marlin on the last stage that some of you were helping me with. Took the action out as in a standard field strip, a round dropped out, not from the breech and there were four more in the tube. Reassembled and it appears to be cycling just fine. I'll put some rounds through it next week and see how it does. If not I guess I'll be seeking out Widowmaker.
