Cherokee Deacon aka Roy Reed passed last evening 02/14/24 at 6:51pm. Cherokee Deacon was a member of the Greene County Regulators for many years. Deacon was Ramrod/President of the Regulators and a hard worker keeping the range mowed until his health declined. Rest in Peace & may God bless and comfort your wife & friends.

Howdy,

Marshal Andy will be performing at Barley's Taproom & Pizzeria located at 200 E. Jackson Ave. from 6pm-7pm on Thursday evening Dec. 21st. The music will be traditional Christmas songs from artists like Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Andrew Sisters, Vaughn Monroe & Judy Garland.

General Discussion / Knox County Commision to Honor Marshal Andy

Howdy,

The Knox County Commision will honor Marshal Andy at the beginning of their October 23rd meeting. The meeting starts at 5:00pm and is held in the main assembly room of the of the City-County Building, 400 W. Main Street. You are invited to attend & support Marshal Andy. I would suggest "NO" firearms or knives.

Trading Post / RU interested in bullet casting and/or reloading cartridges ??

Howdy,
I recently visited with TN Hawk's son David. Hawk cast many of his own bullets and had equipment including a lubricator/sizer, furnace, molds & lead ingots. Hawk loaded ammo on a Dillon 550 and has several die sets & misc. items. His son won't be using any of this equipment and would like it to go to a cowboy/cowgirl if possible. I'm sure he will be more than fair with an offer to buy the casting and/or reloading equipment. Let me know if you're interested.

Sam Buca had surgery to repair a broken ankle about a week ago. He's recovering in a west Knoxville rehab facility. Next week he'll be evaluated for a hard cast on his ankle. Get well Sam & best wishes for a complete recovery.

East Tennessee Public Broadcast System will celebrate Marshall Andy's career with an event on Sept. 17th from3-5pm. Attendance is limited to 100 ticket holders. The Outlaws have been invited but must respond prior to public announcement of the event. Let me know by August 6th12th if you would like to attend.

Howdy,

Marshal Andy will be taping his final show "Riders of the Silver Screen" tomorrow at 1pm. The public is invited to attend and should arrive around 12:30. The studio is located at 1611 Magnolia Ave. Studio entrance is in the rear of the building inside the fenced in parking area.

UPDATE 11.30.22

I took Tio home from the hospital yesterday. He is doing okay but will have to make lifestyle changes to maintain his health due to congestive heart failure. Keep him in your thoughts & prayers.

Tio is in the hospital with cardiac related issues. Please keep him in your thoughts & prayers.

Tio Don is in the hospital for testing & treatment after feeling very tired. His preliminary diagnosis is a bleed in his gastrointestinal tract. Please keep him in your thoughts & prayers.

UPDATE 10/24
Tio had four stomach ulcers that were treated through his esophagus. He may possibly go home tomorrow. Thanks for the prayers & good thoughts.
