We have a new shooter who is trying to get outfitted and is asking about rifles and shotguns.  She has the revolvers. but is looking for a 73 rifle in .38 and a SxS shotgun.

A. Does anyone know of either of these for sale?  I'd think it would be most cost-effective to buy a used one, maybe one with at least some work done on it.
B. Is there a SASS person who sells tuned-up used guns.  Is, say, Johnny Meadows in TX still in business? I'm just not familiar anymore with who does this stuff.
C. Where would be some places to buy a new one if it comes to that?  Longhunter or some other customizer?  Or just buy a stock one?

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Uncle Ethan,

I sure hope that at least the Tuesday shoot will not be included in a rate increase.  I thought it was bad when it went from $5 to $10.   It was really intended as less of a match and more an "organized practice session."  Is there a way to call it something else and not charge like an official "match?"
