I'm being perfectly serious here; what are they predicting for Friday evening/Saturday morning for the Knoxville area? Things don't look good in Chattanooga Friday night.
Will you guys post some info early Saturday? We'd like to shoot, but also want to be safe.

Mongo,
Really cold at around 26 at match time but probably no precipitation, maybe just flurries and no ice to worry about at this point.
Hope we can get the match in.

Well,
I hope the overnight weather spares us from slippery streets. Even so, I don't plan to be the early bird tomorrow. I expect to arrive after 8:30.

My concern is "black ice" and road conditions. We're not worried about cold and a few flurries.
The hourly forecast on www.weather.com doesn't look that bad (just cold). I guess we'll back the SUV and see what the morning brings.

Our local forecast says rain/drizzle most of the day and into evening and freezing temps later tonight.
Hard to guess the condition of major roads and interstates, but I will not be in favor of driving on our Roane County back roads if this forecast is accurate.
I sent the stages to Horse Doc just in case our roads are ugly.
I don't know if he'll cancel the match but will post here as soon as we learn anything.

Thanks for keeping us posted. Yep Roane County can be challenging
In inclement weather. I heard they have 3 salt trucks and one is broke 😀
