Booth Museum of Western Art
« on: November 02, 2015, 08:17:07 PM »
We had the occasion to be in Cartersville, GA this weekend and happened across the Booth Museum of Western Art.

I had heard some talk of there being a nice western museum there but did not really know anything about it.  My brother is visiting from CA this week and he, being a fine landscape artist himself, is always is ready to check out any museum. So we stopped in....

"Wow" is all I can say.  What an excellent museum full of incredible western paintings and sculpture. We spent 2 1/2 hours there and wished we had more time.  I cannot recommend this place any more highly to anyone who enjoys fine art.

Yes indeed. The museum is a great place to visit. Lots of artifacts, sculpture and paintings. Hawk & I stopped in to visit on the way to the GA State match. Well worth the time.
