To all,Operation Honor Guard is one day that members of the Honor Guaeds get out to ask
for donations .This is usually in Oct. from 6am to 6pm .The money is used for uniforms, gas
& things to keep the Honor Guard & members going, our unit is all volunteers,we don't get
pay for what we do. Most of us have been on active duty, some are retired.
There are a few other Honor Guards units. If you would like to be a member all it takes is to
find a unit, with us,East Tenn Veterans Honor Guard you need a DD214 to show that you are
a veteran,we have some that are still working,so they come to the funerals that are on the weekend or when you can.If you have any questions you can call Capt.Reid Gerhardt @ 865-
 223-3825

 THANKS for asking,
