Howdy,

My surgery to remove a bad gallbladder was successful. I was home by 3:30 with a little pain & nausea. Thanks to all for the prayers & good thoughts.

UPDATE: I'm doing very well. Haven't had much pain, more like soreness than pain. Moving about more but slow & easy. No shooting this weekend at TMM and not sure about next weekend a the Ocoee Rangers. Thanks for the prayers & good thoughts. Keystone

General Discussion / Nomination of Officers for Oak Ridge Outlaws

Howdy,

It is that time of the year to hold nominations for officers for the Oak Ridge Outlaws. The positions are Ramrod(President), Top Hand (Range Officer), Marshall (Safety Officer), Bean Counter (Secretary/Treasure), Sutler (Promoter) & Territorial Governor. Elections will be held at the beginning of the December match with terms beginning in January.

Current Officers:

Ramrod - Cactus Red
Top Hand - Jackalope
Marshall - Last Kiss
Bean Counter - Steely I. Justice
Sutler - Sam Buca
Territorial Gov. - Tombstone

We don't have a memorial page and I was thinking of shooters that shot with SMSS & Oak Ridge Outlaws who are no longer with us. I remembered the following: Heart Break Bill, Winchester Wood, Reno Luck, Smoky Mtn. Lawman, Yukon Hooch, TN Renegade, Sheriff Donald, Top Dollar Bill, Devil Dog, Clint Westwood, Grouche Olphardt, Jack Rabbit Bob, Rev. Adam Jones & Vinegarroon. Please add anyone missing from the listed names.

General Discussion / July 9th Match Thoughts

Howdy,

Just some thoughts.
1. NO RAIN....................NO RAIN !!
2. Wasn't as hot as I thought it would be.
3. The top three shooters won all the stages. Charly (2), Purly (2) & Jackalope (1)
4. All the clean match shooters shot on Posse #1.
5. 15 shooters shot Gunfighter style.
6. It was good to visit with Preacher Red.
7. Enjoyed fellowship afterwards at Swiftys Bar & Grill.

Visited with Pete and his bunkhouse boss today, a very nice couple. I've got a very fine pair of '72 Open Tops & a wool coat with leather cape. All Pete's firearms are in great condition and ready to shoot. They have some apparel items available as well that are not posted. Check his posting and contact him if you have any questions.

Howdy,

What a great day. The weather got better all through the day with a spectacular blue sky. Harley's stages were great and allowed plenty of creative gun work. I would have never thought of feeding folks loaded baked spuds but they made for good eating. Visiting with folks, especially good ole pards, was terrific. Thanks to all the folks that made it happen.

Well,

Tom B. Stone put on a show shooting Gunfighter "Outlaw" style. Good shooting pard. Anita, there sure were a lot of procedurals (12) and a fair amount of misses. But, this was a great day to be a Cowboy / Cowgirl. Thanks to all for a great day.
