Congratulations Preacher Red on the occasion of receiving the Silver Beaver Award !
He has been a adult volunteer in Scouting for 47 years. Way to go Frank (Preacher Red)!!

A few of us cowboys and cowgirls filled a table at the BSA awards Banquet. Emcee was Don Dare and a few notable special award winners; President Emeritus of UT Dr. Joe Johnson (Eagle Scout Honoree), Senator Lamar Alexander (Eagle Scout Alumnus of the Year) and businessman Sam Furrow (Silver Beaver Award).

Condolences to his family & friends.

Devil Dog was a special cowboy and I was sorry to see him and family stop shooting. I read about his passing in the newsletter form the Ocoee Rangers. May God bless y'all during this sad time.

Howdy,

Saturday's match at the Ocoee Rangers will feature stages written by womenfolk. Stage #1 Yazoo City Gal, #2 Anita Margarita, #3 Last Kiss, #4 Miss Kitty Kat & #5 Mrs. Pleasant. Shooters are encouraged to wear their chaps. Should be another fun day with the Ocoee Rangers.

Howdy,

The Greene County Regulators held their annual meeting and will continue holding matches on the first weekend of the month. They will no longer shoot a second match on months with five Saturdays. These Saturdays will be work days with a practice session after the work is finished.The fifth stage has had the been rebuilt with a new roof. Come on up and support the folks of GCR.

Howdy,

I agree, we had good stages & scenarios today. The weather was not as severe as predicted as the sunshine appeared early in the day and the wind wasn't much of an issue. I prepared for more extreme weather then showed up. The later start definitely allowed us to have a more comfortable match. We completed the match and were off to Hacienda Degollado by 2:00.
