Working On 1866
« on: May 20, 2016, 12:17:23 PM »
Will I took my 66 apart. Replaced magazine and cut new slot for screw bolt. New firing pin and spring. Remover burr on inside of bolt.  Replaced old extractor and pin. New front sight because drop gun on cement floor and broke off brass bead, can't find bead. Cleaned all and was very careful test firing it. One round at first. Than two, so far so good, than went for all ten. Great my face is still there and gun works great. Sometimes you get lucky.
