FREE shooting and reloading stuff
« on: October 27, 2021, 06:25:46 PM »
This is tentative, and SUBJECT TO CHANGE OR CANCELLATION.

But here is my thinking. This house must be empty to sell it. It looks like the final cleanout may be November 16. I still have lots of shooter-type stuff.

If I don't have it out by Nov. 16 it will probably go to the dump. :o

Think about it. Die sets, reloading presses, powder measures, calipers, brass, loaded rifle ammo, etc., etc. just dumped. :-\ What if, instead, I open it all up to shooters after the Oak Ridge shoot on Nov. 13, and you can take anything you wish. ::) NO CHARGE. Wouldn't that be better than letting it be hauled to the dump? ;D

I will have limited time to spend on this, so I will set a specific starting time. If you want something in advance, it will not be free.

Like I said, SUBJECT TO CHANGE OR CANCELLATION. Timing of several things are still dependent on others.

What do you think? Will this work? Comment?

Sounds like a good way to avoid wasting stuff that people could use.  Do you live near the range?

I have 2 presses left. Both Lee. Their heaviest one and their lightest one.

I am 4 miles from the range.

I am sure a lot of people would be glad to take them. But somehow, reserving anything seems to defeat the purpose. And i am overwhelmed with what I have to do. i cannot start keeping track of who gets what.

There don't seem to be enough Saturdays to do everything.

Still, we will see if we can make this work...............

I don't have a "dog in this hunt" because I haven't been shooting with you guys recently, but I think it would be a nice gesture if some of you retired Oak Ridge Outlaws members would offer to go over to Critr's house and help him box up his remaining stuff to help him get his house on the market. Kitty Kat and I have just been through this getting her mom's house sold.  It's a daunting task, even with family and friends helping.

A club member with a little storage room could hold Critr's excess shooting stuff for a short time until it could be displayed as a shooting equipment "yard sale" at an upcoming Oak Ridge shoot.   The proceeds could go to facilitate his move, or an organization, or cause, of his choice.

I have a pickup and can help move what's left if we have a place to move it to. Critr, how much stuff are we looking at? Several pickup loads? Would hate to see useful things going to the dump.

I really appreciate the offers. I am not interested in moving the stuff (to have to deal with later), but rather I want to see it gone. And I am not concerned about making anything on it, i just want it out so I can sell the house ASAP.

If you want to take it, store it, and sell it later, on your own, that would be great.

As I see a way to attack it, I may ask for specific help at that time.

After the shoot Nov 13 is a go. Come clean out my reloading stuff (and more). 1:30-5:00 pm.
105 Trevecca Lane, just four miles from the range!

Stock up for yourself. :)
Take it and sell it.  :o
Give it to your hunting buddy. 8)
Give it to your neighbor.

I don't care, just take it out of here! ;D

Sat. Nov. 13 from 1:30 to 5:00 pm.

Please announce it at the shoot , for those folks who do not check this board.

Run by Critr's house to check out the reloading supplies & equipment after the match tomorrow.
