April 14th Match Predictions

I predict...

1)  Five fast stages

2)  An old west carnival will visit the Oak Ridge Outlaws

3)  You better watch out for the creepy clown

4)  Hamburgers and hot dogs after the shooting stops

5)  There will be rifle and handgun knockdowns

6)  There will be a nine-round rifle stage

I can vouch for #5 above, I was at setup and we brought 10 knock downs to one stage.

I love knock downs sounds like a good warm up for future man on man competitions.

7)  One stage will require a rifle reload.  As previously mentioned, watch out for the creepy clown.

8 )  You might not even need a shotgun on one of the stages.

9)  You will engage a target at extremely short range.  "In your face" short range.

10)  Warm weather...no rain!

11)  Jackalope will shoot last on the final stage.  An equipment malfunction will cause him to throw his weapon in the air in frustration.  As that happens, the first of the Saturday night thunderstorms roll in and his rifle is struck by lightning.  A molten mass of steel fell to the ground.   While everyone backs away from him (he is still glowing)  the decision is made to award him the match based on style points.   Why wouldn't we?

I predict that

12) Bad Luck Bob (our friend from last year with the arrows stuck in him) will be back in town, but in a different guise altogether.

13) At 72 and partly sunny, it will be a perfect day.

14) Jackalope will not throw his guns or melt down.  He might glow a little.

Jackalope's guns may be a little hot from the holy black.  Lightning is more likely to strike the Miller Lite can he will be holding after the shoot.

15)  We will be able to sit down and take a rest during the match.

16)  We better keep our eyes peeled for creepy clowns.  You just never know when one will pop up.

Gonna hate to miss seeing the Singing Jackalope and a Creepy Clown.

Just got back in town and the horses are worn out.

17)  Jackalope will not sing

18)  The clown is really creepy.  Really, really creepy.  (Just like all the other clowns on the planet...creepy.)

19)  The match would be more fun if Judge and Yazoo could make it  (Glad you're home safe!)
