Well looks like we have another pardner on the injury reserve posse. Longshot Luther was injured while cutting a tree down. Apparently it fell before it was suppose to and broke his ankle. Says he will know in a week or so if it will require surgery. He hopes to be back smoken the range up in 10 to 12 weeks. Keep him in your prayers and hoping for a full recovery.

Got an update yesterday from Longshot.
He went to the surgeon yesterday. Results are, 3 broken bones plus torn tendons. Surgery only way to repair this. This is going to happen on Monday 2-20. boot in two weeks and healing time 2.5 to 3 months.
Lets keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

I text Long Shot this morning. He is doing fine. he is meeting with the saw bones Monday for a followup. Won't be able to put weight on his foot for three months, so will be awhile before he is back with us.

Just got an update from Longshot Luther.
" It's an Easter miracle. My x-ray were really good and my therapist said to start walking in my boot without crutches for the next 4 to 6 weeks then go to an ankle brace. Still have to exercise and therapy once a week.
It's weird to stand on that foot I feel like it's going to explode or collapse.
Have to stay in boot unless in bed or on the couch.

Hopefully he will be back before the end of the summer.
