Trading Post / **Sold**Norinco 1897 for Sale
« on: June 09, 2019, 07:32:45 PM »
I have a Norinco 97 clone for sale.  As in my previous post I'm selling only because I'm sticking with SxS.

I bought this from Numrich about 1-2 years ago, Curly Bill has worked it and it is extremely smooth.  Finish is worn at the wrist where the shells rubbed however overall in great shape.

This would be a great starter for anyone interested in shooting 97's. Send me a PM for pics.

Asking $350.00.  Again, I can be at the next Outlaws shoot or meet locally.

Trading Post / **SOLD**Winchester 97 for Sale

I have a Winchester 1897 take down for sale.  Circa 1913. After experimenting I'm going to stick with SxS.  Curly Bill Kelly has worked his magic on this shotgun and it is extremely smooth.  The bluing, though not original, is in excellent condition.  Barrel has been cut to around twenty inches. No apparent splits in the wood,  just typical dings for the age.

PM me for pics.  I can be at the next Outlaws shoot or can meet anyone locally.

Asking $700.00.

General Discussion / Winchester AA 2019 Rebate Program
« on: May 09, 2019, 03:53:37 PM »
For those of us who stock up on Winchester AA ammo, the annual rebate program is in effect for both online and store purchases of any AA shotgun ammunition.

It's good through September with the usual stipulations of UPC code from each box and the original receipt.  Maximum rebate for an individual is $100.00.

The most benefit I see if is you purchase on-line with a vendor who does not collect sales tax and has free shipping.

The printable form can be found at:

Thanks for posting Anita.

I believe your stages today to be fun though no more challenging than usual. I as I'm sure others do, appreciate the effort both yourself and Jackalope put into the stage writing.

On another note, spot painting between shooters is an excellent idea.  Very little work for the crew, however allows the shooter to see if he/she is shooting straight and virtually eliminates those pesky edge hits, which as a spotter, I know I have missed.

Had fun as always hope to see everyone again on Saturday.

General Discussion / Re: Did I fix it?

Anita,

If you go to the Forum page it is redirecting to the following URL: http://oakridgeoutlaws.org/forum/index.php?wwwRedirect  and you have the issue

If you modify this to URL: http://oakridgeoutlaws.org/forum  the issue goes away.

WWW.Redirct is a marketing company that does pop ups etc.  Somehow they have attached themselves to your internal forum link it appears.

If you can access that and correct it may solve the issue.

Hope this helps.

As Buckshot said Walmart appears to be carrying the AA low recoil 980 FPS.  Lenoir City had a dozen or so boxes on their shelves a couple of days ago.

If you prefer on line, Rogers Sporting Goods has them in stock as of this morning.  Any order over $100.00 offers free shipping.

General Discussion / Re: ORSA open house Many Thanks
« on: March 11, 2019, 03:59:11 PM »
It was a lot of fun.

We had all ages step up to the line for the experience, because I was running the timer, yep they let me do that, I can witness that all of the participants appeared to thoroughly enjoy the process.

I know we have ORSA restrictions we have to abide to, however the more "open houses" that we can muster would, I believe, do a lot to perpetuate our sport.
